Oil Pressure Switch Help

I have a 85 Trans am TPI with the oil pressure sending unit and the oil pressure switch right next to each other next to the distributor. The Switch has 2 wires is there away to bypass that.

My problem is when it is plugged in the fuel pump keeps running after the ignition is turn off for for 15-20 secs till it turns off but when I unplug the switch it turns off right away. Also I do have a new fuel pump relay.

Just get a new switch. and change your oil at regular intervals. When it is cold the viscosity of the oil is much higher and may do this. It is not a problem.
