Here on the lake, we've got about 8 inches so far. They're actually calling for the snow changing to rain tonight as the temps begin to rise. I'm hoping for once they're right.

well that was a fun drive to work. i hate living in an apartment. those plow trucks dont care about people getting out of their garages. it took me 45 minuutes to dig myself out of my garage before i could even leave. then a nice slick and wet ride to work. i am suprised at all the flooding though. there was one puddle i went through but would have avoided if i had seen it sooner. i didnt think i would make it through with how deep it was.

Yeah, I spent a good 30 mins pushing out the people who don't know how to drive in the snow, in the apt. parking lot. One HS kid would slam on the brakes everytime he'd get unstuck and then he'd be stuck again. If I wasn't getting soaked, I'd have laughed my ass off. They did a real crappy job plowing our lot too, Josh. Nice way to start my vacation.

Theres about 5" of snow here in Toledo. However, within the next hour (around noon), I am driving home to Cleveland. And I hear sandusky got hit bad, right where I will be driving through. Just hope there is not a lot of morons on the road that can't handle wet/snow roads driving, that includes most the people here in Toledo. I had no trouble pulling in and out (in low gear)of my apt. parking spot to make a groove for me to get out soon, but I had to push somebody else just get into out the parking area. They have plowed yet, just snowblowed sidewalks. At least they did that.

This type of weather brings all the idiots out. Coming from the hills of PA, I can't believe how badly Ohioians drive on flat roads. I passed a dozen spinouts on Rtes 2, 90 & 271 at 5:30 this morning. Why people are in such a hurry to get to work is beyond me. Most of the cars were still there on the return trip..sucks to be them.

And Brian, enjoy that weather while you can. If this storm had hit Delaware, the state would be shut down for a week.

I got stuck at tacobell tonight. They decided to only plow half of thier lot, so when I turn around the back to go into the drive through, I was in 6 inches of snow. 2 of the people working had to come to help me out

If we get anymore snow before some of this shit melts, I'm screwed! I have nowhere to put it. I have about 4ft banks of snow on each side of my drive. I dont have a blower. I have a riding mower with a plow and it wouldnt move the stuff from yesterday a inch. So I had to use a shovel.

From Monday on till ? Most of this white stuff will melt away.

We went into Pittsburgh today and people were gawking at our car as it still had a few inches of frozen snow on the roof and trunk lid. They got nothing from this last storm.

walmart in kent has been shutdown for 3 days. The roof had so much weight from the snow and ice they had to evacuate it. Part of it ended up collapsing in some.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Business has been slow for awhile and my boss decided to pack it in. No big deal. I'll start looking first of the year.

Maybe put that snowblower to good, profitable use when that snow hits John. Sorry to hear of your situation and hope the New Year brings you better news.

storm 2 hit yesterday, tons of freezing rain and ice. The roads were all closed around here, my dad couldn't even get to work. Alot of trees fell over and our power went out last night around 1:30 until this morning.
