50 Bucks for Cable

...and that's just for the premium service without HBO, Showtime, etc. Comcast just sent out a letter of intent to raise rates...again. Three years ago we were paying 35 bucks and every year they raise it. Sometimes I wish I never tore down that roof antenna.

matt, has your box even been blocked? I know with DSS and hacked cars people get zapped all the time and have to clean and reprogram the card.

I know the Box doesnt have a card. Was just describing how the dss dishes are done.

I thought they could tell is a cable box was tampered with also buy somehting they call sending a bullet back and forth through the line..

guess not if you been good to go for 7yrs.

We had bought a dish one time and kept burning the cards but like you said we got zapped like every other day. It wasnt worth it so we returned it and went back the the box. You can ask saw about it. It works well ;)

last year, when we went to chicago.... we were watching 2 fast 2 furious. my cousin andy had the remote, and he was flipping channels on the cable receiver....

he turned to some channel, i think it was a music video or something. 10 seconds later, on the same channel, the music video became a softcore porn.

the look on my cousin's face was priceless.

so then a couple months later, we went to the autorama 04. my friend ben came along, and we were watching the cable again.

the same thing happened to ben.
