Mine are just about finished on the outside, all four sides and peaks. It's not a Tim Taylor light show but it definitely glows. Glows so much the neighbors can turn their room lights off and use the illumination from my lights to light their rooms. The city is considering turning off the street pole light and paying me to keep my lights shining. :D

Rob, your lights look good. wheres the safety harness for being up that high. but i guess that would take out all the fun and risk of climbing up the ladder and putting lights up in cold weather. lol. unfortunately, I can't put any up since we live in an apartment, but our front door is decorated, and we have a xmas tree up. thankfully, the dog has not attacked it and made it fall over. That thought is what stopped us from getting one last year when he was just a puppy. Hopefully, in the next few months, I can find a house to live in other than my moms if i move back home.

Thanks everyone. To make my night, two CEI trucks stop in front of the house. Guess they found the reason for the substation drawing a lot of current.

What an unexpected surprise. The town council decided to judge the lights this year in town and tonight's the light-up night. Wish me luck though they don't say what you can win.

I wonder if the company would mind if I borrowed the searchlight out at the hangar, placed it in the backyard and fired that mother up. A million candle power beam going right up into the night sky. Either I'd clinch first pace or plunge the town into darkness when the substations blow

 :eek2:
