Hey Guys,
The original guys know me, but some of the new guys/gals may not. I've been in Toledo the past 4.5 years getting my degree in Chemical Engineering. Anyways, I am graduating December 18th; however, I have not found a job yet. I prefer moving back to the NE Ohio (where my family is), since there are no jobs here in NW Ohio. I was just wondering if you have any family/friends (or yourself) work for any type of companies that manufacture chemicals, plastic, rubber, etc and/or employ chemical/environmental engineers. Actually, I am more interested in environmental type of work like wastewater/water treatment as I have previously worked for the Ohio EPA. I appreciate any help I receive from you guys. Feel free to let me know on here or at rsprinzl@hotmail.com if you have any networking contacts for companies that are hiring.
Thanks
Rich

Hey, i work at ben venue laboratories (http://www.benvenue.com) We manufacture drugs. There are many different departments dealing with the engineering, water sampling etc. I suggest checking out the website for job opprotunities or possibly giving a call 440-232-3320 and see what jobs are available. It's a great place to work. Best of luck in your search.

Thanks Cashmunson and Erin for your help, never heard of that company, let alone being in the Cleveland area. I'll look into the company.

I'm not sure if they're hiring now, but Sherwin-Williams uses a lot of Chem. Engs. at their research center... Where did you do your co-ops?

Unfortunately, i was passed up on interviewing with S-W. They visited UT back in early October. I cooped with the Ohio EPA in BG and Bayer Polymers near Cincy. Both gave me experience dealing with differnent environmental issues. I also worked as a quality coop for Endura Plastics in Kirtland, where my dad works. I applied to 4 OEPA jobs a few days ago, but they were in BG and Columbus, none in Twinsburg.
