Happy Thanksgiving everyone, especially Brian. Hope you're doing ok as it's been awhile.
We went into Pittsburgh and found the drive fairly easy but the idiots were still out and about and off the road sitting wrecked but that's typical when you throw in any moisture, snow or rain. Some people just shouldn't be on the road.
Nice not having to pay tolls. The first 30 miles are free you could say on the PA turnpike with the toll booth operators on strike. Must be nice to get paid almost 20 bucks an hour with benies out the wahzoo and think you deserve more. Yep, high stress job if you ask me.
We got home about 30 minutes ago and I think I hear my stomach growling for leftovers already. Grandma would be insulted if you left the house without what's left of the bird and enough trimmings to feed a small army. God bless that woman. Over 80 and still full of pep! Take care everyone. I don't want to get turkey drippings on the keyboard :yum:

Happy Belated Thanksgiving everyone. ;)
Hope everyone's having as much fun as we are - starting all that Christmas shopping!!! Saw some more of the "stupid people tricks" during those early morning hours... at least we got some really great deals again... and there are those of us (older folks) who like to sit back and take it all in - it's worth a laugh. :)

Happy late thanksgiving to all!
Regarding the tollbooth jobs, I would never consider that as a career. Being one is just as bad as being a smoker if not worse. Sorry, but I'll miss Toledo when I move away in under a month, since they have had a smoking ban in public places like bars, restaurants, etc. What's worse then breathing in exhaust fumes (CO, CO2,NOx, SOx, etc) from idling cars and working in all elements of weather? By the way, Rob, does PA have e-check? If not, then there is probably even worse emissions coming from cars there. But that would give more explanation for the great benefits plus its a state/civil service job. More benefits=more doctor visits for future issues like cancer, respiratory problems, etc.
However, I wish there was a strike in Ohio since that is my main roadway between Toledo and Cleveland this past week. About $3.20/each way.
