Does anyone have a spare driveshaft laying around that I could borrow? I dont care if its steel or aluminum as long as it straight and decent ujoints. I am trying to chase down a noise/vibration on my car. Mark

Ok I have another question. Can a 700r4 make grinding noise? I get the noise above 60mph in od. I am pretty sure its not the rear end because if something was bad it should make noise all the time. I get the noise in 3rd but it harder to hear becuase of the rpms the engine is at(its In garage on jack stands) I know my trans isnt in the best of shape but I want to diagnose this noise before I buy a trans. The noise is not there when the shaft is out of the car

Thanks for offer guys but I am 90% sure its the bushing in the tail housing of the trans, I have alot of movement in it.
