How would I go about removing the stripe decals on the side of my rear quarter panels?? They are faded and look like junk. I found a set of Origional GM ones on Thirdgen and bought them since they are long discontinued, How do they come off and how can I prep the surface to put the new ones on? Also. On my number 8 plug wire, the tip of the sprak plug is 3/8 away from my header pipe. Currently the boot crusted and split causing a cool blue spark from the wire to the header. What Can I do to prevent this? with boot on there is literally a 1/16 clearance. Can I just buy one accel shorty plug? or something?

I took all the iroc decals and stripes off my car using 3M general purpose adhesive remover and a hair dryer.
spray them down with it and let it sit for a couple min then wipe it off and hit it with the hair dryer. You don't have to use the adhesive remover but it helps. The heat from the hair dryer shrivels the plastic and it just peels off. I think i got the stripe on the passenger side of the car off in one long piece this way.

use shorter plugs, that's what i do. i can't use any plugs except bosch and ngk because of my headers. They are the shortest plugs i've found yet.

If you have a steam machine that would work b/c thats what we used when I worked at the dealership down in NC

nope it won't hurt the paint. If you're worried about the heat, they heat cure it at the factory so it dries quicker...there's no way you'll do any damage to it with a hair dryer.
and the adhesive remove isn't a necessity, but it helps A LOT
