Cooling Fan Problems

in my 91 firebird, the cooling fan will not go on at all, causing the engien to overheat, I have tried jumping it and that works thr relay is fine and the moter is good, and the sensor is the only thing im suspecting is wrong, If that's not it i was wondering if there was any way i could have the fan working properlu without having a toggel swich. Thanks

i have a similar problem but mine is that the fan isnt connected at all to a thermal sensor. i have a push on and off button. the button still functions if the car is off...ran down my battery once..it sucks i need to fix that eventually....

I ran a wire with a in-line fuse and permanently jumpered mine.

does anyone know the proper way to hook up the fan..maybe a diagram if anyone has one

mine ended up being just a switch but its a bitch to get to in the back of the head
