Hey guys, I just bought a Berlinetta V6 2.8 MPI, the car has not been used since 3 years ago, now I am gonna take care of it.
My first problem is that the Vehicle Speed Sensor is not working, the dash shows the 0 Miles and the Car's mileage, you can switch to Tachometer (not working too) or whatever the function you may want to see is working. So now, I went underneath the car to see where the Speed sensor is. I have found a 3 connectors plug in the middle of the upper transmission, another black cable in the same spot, it goes to the gear box, and a black piece in the transmission tail. On the passenser side, I have found a black cable that has a bolt and it is going to the front of the engine. Here are two pics of the black piece in the tail of the transmission. Tell me what you think. Do you think it looks like a cable driven one? the former owner wanted to modify the car?
Every suggestion is very welcome. The black piece is the green one, the other purple one is like a piece support or whatever the name is.

Here is the 3 connectors wire. A friend told me it is the cruise control.

Hello watafo, I have a detailed electrical troubleshooting manual on the berlinetta available on CD. It is in full color with high resolution images. Contact me directly for info on how to get a copy.
Sincerely, Mike Myrick
