Was wondering if anyones in the Eastern PA/NJ area. I'm lookin to get a car club together. We'd basically meet and hang out on saturdays and stuff. Go to shows/drags all together. I'm thinking of the name American Muscle. Let me know what you guys think, especially if any of you are in the area. Basically open to any american car except stuff with big wings and stuff. I'm not thinking of it being real formal with dues and stuff. Just somethin for people to meet, hang out, talk about cars. We could always meet at a place like hooters or something.

Im thinking of naming the club: American Thunder

I was also thinking maybe we could meet the last saturday of each month. at locations closer to each member so some people arnt driving all the way each time.

Let me know what ya think. I got a couple people interested, we're just looking to make a date for our first meeting. Everything I mentioned is negotiable. PM me or reply here if your interested or can make it. I'm looking to have our first meeting maybe Oct 30th, or if thats too short notice sometime in Nov. Like i said doesnt have to be the last sat in the month, could be first or could always switch weekends.

I'm also thinking of making hooded sweatshirt.

On the front left chest it would say.

"My Gas Mileage Might Be Lower,
My Insurance Might Be High, But
Life Could Be Worse..."

Than on the back middle twords the bottom

"I Could Drive A Import"

The sweatshirt could be black with blue writing or whatever you guys like. And have the members car logo above it. Like for me the 3rd gen bird, for you the 4th, and my one friend the 2nd. and for a kid i work with maybe say Monte.

I live in Ephrata, PA! I definately wanted to look to be part of a club like the one your describing! Now when you say Saturdays and all, what time are you thinking? Dealing with my job I work from 7AM to 4PM pretty much every Saturday. If this hinders anything dont worry about it, I am sure I will find something that works! lol! I have a white 1986 IROC-Z 305 TPI w/ Ram Air. Nothing real special here but will be soon enough! GOOD LUCK with the club!!! Sounds like you are getting things sorted out!!! :D

hey sorry guys been a while since i posted. We havnt had any meetings yet. We planned one but the other guy who was bringing his friends couldnt come and i blew 3rd and 4th in my crappy 700R4. Still looking for a tranny. If you guys here of any in good cond or rebuilt pls drop me a line. Also my friend with a 79 TATA with a vette 350 and 700R4 blew 3rd and 4th 5 days before i did. All we gotta do is get a flywheel and we can put his new T/H350 with a 2800stall shift kit and race internals... Came out of a 92 camaro with a 506 BB... :) Guy blew the engine, its a guy i work with, so he sold it to my friend for $100. :) I'll keep ya guys posted, I hope by the spring to have the tranny, transgo shift kit, 3.73 gears, cam and head work. If i can scrounge the $$$ im gonna go all out on the motor and have a 335 stroker build with my 305.
