Hello everyone.
I just got done installing a second battery in the trunk of my '92 Firebird. Now that I have an extra 70 lbs back there, should I be concerned about supporting the rear springs some how?
Is there any type of spring support of something available or should I consider replacing the rear springs with something stiffer?
My suspension is in good shape as it is, but I wasn't sure if I should worry about the extra weight.
Any suggestions, advice or anthing would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

the point of relocating the battery is to put extra weight on the rear tires, adding 'support' would almost defeat the purpose of relocating the battery.

why do you have 2 batteries in your trunk?

I didn't relocate my battery, I added an AGM deep cycle battery. I put an extra battery in the car to power all of my electronics and accessories since my car is a KITT replica/conversion.

I ended up using an Air Lift 1000 suspension kit. It worked perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for.
