few michigan questions??

trying to find out how i loud i can get away with my exhaust on my 388 91 z. i've had alot of complaints from neighbors one being an out of county police officer and i'd like to find out what the requirements for noise level are. any idea where i could start searching?



also, i know this has come up before as i've tried to search but i'd like to know what the legal view in michigan is on neon light. i had an officer try to issue me a citation for having both my white and red neons on while parked on the side of a road.

what do you mean "try to issue" you a citation? did he fail to? and why?

i got in my car and turned them off............i want to know how, why and if they can do that?

car is usually determined by decibal at a certain distance... look up your local laws..

lol, just kidding, love you guys... but whats the answer..... if I remember around here its like 80 Db at 50 ft or something, cuz I got a ticket for it a couple years ago.

the thing that aggrivates me is that each county here has their own laws and the worst part is each officer obides by them differently. i remember going to three stations 4 times in one day trying to find an answer to my question and i got 4 answers as to what was right or wrong. one of which the guy actually told me it depends on his mood.

pretty sad how they work around my area.....
