Ok, I realize I probally just did something stupid and I'm probally gonna get laughed at for this etc. Anyhow, I was trying to figure out what was the deal with check engine light. Mr_Dude said to stick a paper clip in the socket and count the number of flashes. Well I didnt have a paper clip, nor was I sure what socket he was refering to. So I used a bobby pin (i think thats what its call) The only to holes I'm aware of are the igniton which did nothng and the lighter thing. Well the lighter thing made my lights go out and now my hatch release won't open. So wtf have I done? Did I just blow a fuse or what.

there are certain holes you have to put it in at the computer terminal. cant remember which 2 though. I'm sure its just a fuse blown

Please take an advanced course in female anatomy before you attempt intercourse.. I'd hate to see which holes you'd choose. :ugh:
;)
UNDER your dash man.. if your sitting in the drivers seat your right knee would be kind of in the area you should be looking under the dash.. now get out and get down and look under there. :)

Ok. Its a 32 which means.32. Fault in barometric pressure sensor circuit OR
Fault in exhaust gas recirculation valve diagnostic switch OR
Fault in electronic vacuum regulator valve
the only thing i've done to the car mods wise is put on an open element an a pipe in place of the catalyctic converter. going back to a flowmaster would any of those things caused this code. The guy at autozone said he didn't think it would hurt anything.

Before you do anything else, check to see if you have a disconnected/broken vacuum line (rubber or plastic hose) between the throttle body, intake, EGR solenoid (electronic doohiky with an electrical connector and 2 hoses/lines on the passenger side of the intake), EGR valve (looks like a steel (but usually cad plated so goldish top) mushroom either on the passenger back side or under the middle of the plenum on a TPI, and MAP sensor (black plastic box about 3”x1”x1/2” with a vacuum line and a big electrical plug hanging off of it, usually screwed to the firewall).

ahahahahahh, that was too funny. i can picture someone sticking a bobby pin into the cigarette lighter, and trying to get the computer to show codes. hahaahah. im sorry but that was too funny.

probably just a loose/broken vacuum line. those lines to the EGR are hard and brittle...check over there first if you were playin around in there.

Yea, pretty funny. I would of lmao if it wern't for the fact it was my dumbass being the one who done it. So far I've noticed that the hatch relase interior light mirror light and the auto door locks don't work...Think its some blown fuses?

Ok, I replaced the fuse and it fixed everything. Now I the check engie light, the code is 32.I just read a tech article on thirdgen.org about this code. I came across this. A plugged or broken vacuum line will make everything else inoperative. If vacuum isn't getting to the solenoid, it surely will not get to the EGR valve. I plugged my vaccume line when I put on the open element air filter. That is what it said to do in the tech article I followed. Was I wrong in plugging the vacume line I used a screw. If I was wrong will removeing the screw keep the code from coming on?

you dont.
the only line you plug is the vac line that goes to that heat riser valve on the stock air intake.
kenny: 32 means the cars self destruct has been activated. RUN!

Does your car idle like crap? If no, then don't worry about it. I throw a code 32 every time I am cruising on the freeway for 5 min...been doing that for 2 years now and it isn't hurting anything.

You should disconnect the ecm power for 30 seconds. this will clear any codes.
