Hi,
Can anyone help? I have just purchased a '91 Camaro RS (5.0)
and I want to get some more power from it cheaply. I am living in the uk and I don't know who to ask about this sort of thing as this is my first american car.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you not just take it to a local mechanic and get them to do it?

^ You're fired!!!

What the hell would you want to go to a mechanic for?

Scroll down to the article titled "Ultimate TBI"

As for real stuff, I would start with some new rear end gears. That will make a big difference. Then go for headers and exaust.

Do the Ultimate TBI mods. Headers will work wonders for you as will a good muffler(cat-back system). Change that filter over to a "performance" type and maybe see if you can find a L69 dual snorkel base. The cheap stuff are the free mods, remove the smog and a/c, add a filter to the existing base amd throw on a performance muffler.

Thanks for your help. I've got an electrical problem appeared so I will sort that and then get some work done on making it quicker.
