it's funny i look over there all the time and didn't bother to check that.
thank you for taking the time to show me what i missed....what's odd is my cam isn't on there. on my card it actually says lt1/lt4?? yet everything else in the motor was built on the premise of just replacing my l98 sbc.

i have the lt4 hotcam in my car as of a couple days ago. it's the 492/492 with 1.5 rockers cam. I just took out the zz4 that's on there as the 474/510. What lift does your cam have?

are we talking valve lift, lobe lift or duration...
valve lift is .622/.570

Jeff ,are you thinkig of a cam swap? Thats a nice healthy cam for your 388
my 383 had a LPE 236/246 .590/.590 Solid Roller. topped off with 1.6 RR's

did you get my email? tracked down that my tps sensor was hanging up on my TB. shaved a bit off of it and now i can start it! still needs to be tuned but i can actually drive it too without filling dixie cups with gas!
oh the happy days, thank you so much to everyone who has helped me with this.....i wouldn't have been able to track down these problems without you guys. now i just need to work on the .bin a bit more. just waiting on my parts from craig.

chris it didn't sound like a very healthy 388 until the post he just made...
i think i want to get rid of my lt4 hotcam and go with the lpe219 and have some nice 560/560 lift in my 355

Matt, ya the 219/219 is a great cam also. deff like it better then the hotcam

don't know if you checked my other post but i can't get my distributor to seem to stay tight. it was loose again on me today and now the timing is back off. i know it was tightened down pretty damn good...........always something you know.

an excellent cam would be a tpis zz-9x. it has 225 intake 240 exhaust at .050, .525 .558 w/1.5 rockers

had tpis cam before....porley ground and off spec. even after fixed their spec parts were way underpowerd so it was a waste of money for me. i have a comp cam now which was directly on the tolerance it was suppose too and made a 100% improvement over what i had. took alot of tunning work but it's coming along slowly.
