Loud Exhaust

Quick question:

I get pulled over for having "a too loud of a car". The cop asks what's in it and I say a 350 with a few things done to it. She says "well once you have done a few things to it, it aint just a 350"
She ask if im even running mufflers and i tell her yeah im running glasspacks (HAHA i lied, they're dynomax bullets...). she said glasspacks are illegal.

writes me up for "loud mufflers (glasspacks)"
says fix it and contact the judge by 4/30

the tranny went south shortly after that and the car has since been down, what happens sense it's technically "not fixed".
also what if i sold the car before 4/30 and then contacted the judge.

I got an 80 series flowmaster put on and a new 2 1/2 inch pipe from the cat back. The cat was busted though so it didnt sound as good as it should I got the cat took off and now it sounds great. It sounds 10X better I got all this done and some of those rectangular tips on for 250 total.Not bad if you ask me another place I went and got it priced out was gonna charge me 520.

anytime a cop asks me what muffler i have back there, i say flowmaster.

i dont have a flowmaster.

for a short time, i didnt have anything.



however, most cops know what the hell a flowmaster is, and that its louder.

i dont mention my engine, or any other mods. i just play dumb and say flowmaster...
never got a ticket.

Hehe I drove around last night and all day today with open headers. Holy crap was it loud. I didn't get too close to any cops though. I passed like 3 cops going in the oppisite direction, saw like 3 other cops and had 1 in front of me and 2 state troopers pulled up behind me. But I didn't get pulled over once. All I got was tons of people either looking at me, trying to race me or giving me the thumbs up. I probably got about 8 people that gave me the thumbs up. I guess I had my fun with open headers for the day. I don't want to risk it even more. Plus after driving for so long it starts to give you a headache. Not to mention that it stalls at stoplights because of the lack of backpressure.

never got a ticket. good idea, but i got the ticket taken care of (hook-ups are the way of the land)

Not to mention that it stalls at stoplights because of the lack of backpressure. hmmm mine has never had stalling problems open headers. id never drive around with just open headers though, thats just crazy. a lot of people think im insane for running the exhaust i do run (full-lengths, dual 2.5" pipe, and a couple small dynomax bullets)
