before my 3rd gen i had an inline 6 nova, i started building a 383 for it, so i got an 8.5 rear from a donor car. i am aware that the 8.5 from x bodies swaps directly for the 12 bolt in early model camaros. my question is do the rears still have the same width in the 3rd gen as the first gen, if the nova rear is wide enough what would i need to do to install it....weld on coli spring perches and somehow mount the ladderbar to the rear housing?
