need ecm?

need a speed density ecm for my 91...where's a good place to get one.


if your going to suggest the yard, how do i know what ecm will work since different vehicles ran the sd ecm?

There are many places to get one. I would not get one from a yard unless it is a new in vehicle. Electonics and incliment weather do not match. Hypertech may be a good place to look if you need a custom chip. You can try E-bay. Try looking here in the buy and sell area.

because if the numbers on the ecm match the numbers on your ecm, then it will work. your probably running a 730 ecm, it came in alot of diff cars. what changes is the prom, not the ecm. so find an ecm that has the same numbers and your fine, just dont use the prom that came in it because the bin is probably going to be different.

picked up 2 from a yard for $10 a piece.....hell of a deal over the 100+ gm and other major part stores wanted for reman units.
