does radar work when the cops are driving or do they have to be stationary?
Yes, works while driving. The only way you can't be clocked is if you are moving the same direction as the moving squad car or if the angle is too great, ie. meeting an officer coming around a curve and it's a pretty tight curve. You have a second or two to brake.
We can get you coming or going. Obviously when you're coming at us. But also when you've passed us, we can flip it onto rear radar and clock you going the opposite direction. I often do this to see if you speed back up. If you do, I'm going to whip around and write you.

and this is why i wait until im out of radar before i speed back up.. even when surrounding traffic doesnt wait and starts speeding up.
(and people say i never learned anything after 17(ish) speeding tickets.... )

theres only 3 on my driving record. most of the tickets are in various other states..
if you can deal with them right, then tickets become nothing more then a tax for thoes that go faster then what the sign says.
im not saying be stupid, but on a dry pavement, high visibility, day..(aka perfect conditions) on a limited access divided road, in a well maintained car (or on a bike), i dont have a problem with going over 55....
