if and where is it illegal to run a 4,6 or even 8 pt. cage on the street. what provisions are needed to insure that it is legal for street use assuming that its nhra legal?

its not illegal anywhere i know of.
and you would have a valid saftey issue if you ever got a citation for it. but i cant imagine any cop being enough of a dick to write one... and i have no idea what it would even be for...
logic states that you would want it padded by where your body and head could impact it, but other then that, you can do whatever.

yes, extremely illegal. you're not allowed to make your car safer for the street , only faster and more dangerous!

I've never heard of cages being illegal in any state.
