Headliner Help?

I have a 3rd gen Trans Am....'82 to be exact. Im redoing the headliner and when i go to take it out it turns out the seatbelts go through the headliner... I dont wana have to cut the headliner to get it out.

Any tips? :conf:

unbolt the seatbelts

My 86 camaro had belts going through it but it had slots to slide them out of had remove the trim piece 1st.
