Have a question. I have a condition which makes my eyes kind of sensitive to light. I squint even when it is raining out because it seems kind of bright to my eyes. Anyways, is there a way to get a prescription to have tints and not get a ticket for it?
It would also look cool on my car btw. :)

Yes and No. I have been told both ways when I inquired about it years ago. Even if you get the script for the tint the will more than likely write you the ticket and the judge may or may not drop it. I risk a ticket every time I go home for a visit to IL thanks to my tinted windows which are legal where I live now (TN) but IL says that I can't have them in their state.

pretty sure only staty cops can give you a ticket (at least in TX) bc they are the only ones that carry the meter...

Wouldn't sunglasses make a lot more sense? I think that's what the judge would say.

I wear them all the time, even when it is snowing or raining. Otherwise I have to squint and my eyes water. What if I forget them though or lose them? Then what, I can't drive or have a hard time driving?
