Ok, I got a speeding ticket, I was actually doing it, and have little-no chance of winning in court. I do think however that if I went to court I would probably get a smaller fine, and less points on my license. The problem is though just the way the ticket is worded, it pretty much looks like I have to plea guily/not guilty before I go to court which is i'm sure how they want it to look. What should I do, I want to go to court, but i'm not sure if I should plea not guilty, and there is no way to go to court should I plead guilty. Any advice on what I should do/say in court? This is the first ticket I have gotten, so i'm kind of clueless here, any advice would be great.

What happend was the limit dropped from 55-30, I was going 70 in the 55, and didn't see the 30mph sign untill I was close to it. I slowed to 52 just as I hit the sign, so I got a ticket for 52 in a 30.

And i'm not going to get into what i'm pretty damn sure was an illigle search of my car. Figures he checks everything in the car exept the one bag that has alcohol in it :). No I wasn't drinking and the containers were sealed just because i'm under 21 would I have gotten in trouble, more likely just had it confenscated.

yup, the alcohol would have been confiscated, and you would be charged with underage possesion. happened to a girl i dated back in college. except she got busted on a college campus. she ended up having to perform community service.

now, as far as the speeding ticket... if you know absolutely that you were speeding, you might try going in and pleading guilty. admit that you made a mistake. if you look to be genuinely sorry, you might get away with a reduced fine.

it worked for me twice last year. both times i got pulled over by state troopers, one time was a verbal warning, the second was a written warning.
