Alright, most of you will probably say, "Man if you don't know what that is, then I highly suggest you go back and plan on NOT doing an engine and transmission swap"

Well... I completely understand, but I got a lot of help from my buddies so it shouldn't be a problem, but none of them are familiar with domestics, so we are all taking a crash course here.

I know #1 is part of the AC, #2 is most likely power steering, #3 is water pump, and #4 is just timing... But I have no idea about number 5.. correct me where i am wrong.

I have no idea what these are, they look like filters of some sort... And those two hoses are for the HEATER correct? So as long as they stay intact my heater and defroster will still work?

No clue... My best guess is that it something to do with emissions... Taking a long shot... EGR?

Here is a small metal pipe that lead to the air cleaner area... No clue what it is... And those hoses. Where do they go?

First pic - you are right on all. Number 4 is the crankshaft pulley (not sure if knew that since you said "just timing"). Number 5 is the A.I.R. pump. Stands for Air Injection Reaction. Commonly called a smog pump.

Second pic - hard to see from the pic but if they going into the firewall then yes they are heater hoses. Not sure about the two question marks. Hard to see in the pic.

Third pic - That is the charcoal canister. Emissions equipoment. It collects vapors from the gas tank and then routes them to the engine to be burned later. Also called an Evap canister.

Fourth pic - The marked hoses and pipes all appear to be part of the a.i.r. system. Depending on what you can get away with where you live, you can remove all that stuff. Just start at the pump and remove every pipe and hose connected to it. If the catalytic converter has ever been replaced, that small pipe going to it under the car is most likely not hooked up anyway. Just use some pipe plugs to plug the holes in the exaust manifolds, and be sure the small pipe coming from the cat is plugged.

#5 looks like the alternator to me.....

The 3rd pic is your falluvial dampers.
It keeps your Twin Ion Engines coolant from overheating during a high-G turn while engaging rebel fighters.

Trust me.

The middle ? mark is the heater diverter valve, the other ? is park of the AIR system in where excess air comes out of the bottom at WOT, 5 is the AIR pump, 4th pic is all AIR hoses as mentioned and that other pick is the charcoal canister as mentioned.

First off don't listen to ragtop69. Secondly.

First pic: 1:Ac compressor 2:Power steering pump 3:Water pump 4:Vibration Damp. 5: If there are wires directly connected it is the alternator. If there are places for Hoses then it is the Smog pump. This forces air into the exhaust network to reduce emissions.

Second pic: Heat is correct this goes to the heater Core. The first ? is for the Smog pump. This is the air out Divert. The second ? is the Divert solenoid. This also is part of the Smog setup. This diverts the air to the catalic converter and the headers when the computer tells it do so.

Third Pic: This is the Evaporation canister (Charcoal canister).

Fourth Pic: 1 and 2 are air injected into the Headers from the Air divert solenoid. 3 is the air divert to the Catalic converter. This connects to the air divert solenoid. The ? is the cranck case ventilation system. This connects to the air cleaner in order to push air into the Crank case. This operates inversly to the PCV valve.
