Build sheet for an '83 z-28

Does anybody here know where I can find it? I just bought the car yesterday so I'm very new to the third gens. Again, it's an '83 z-28 with a carbed 305 if that matters at all.

Mine was under the drivers seat in my 1982 Z, tucked in the seat springs... VERY brittle and VERY shredded But all the important info was on it :thumbup:

The build sheet is not guaranteed to be there. It was just one of those things that *maybe* the factory workers did when they were ready to ship the car. Most people find them under the back seat, but it could be anywhere, under the front seat, under the dash pad, in the back fenderwell, etc. Or the last guy on the assembly line may have just thrown it in the trash. :shrug:

Well, thanks for the info. I guess I'll just keep looking while I work on it. Hopefully i can find it because I can't find the rpo codes anywhere else in the car.

I'm working on my '83 Z28 now. Found multiple build sheets... ones in best condition were under the back seat and behind the rear speaker panel. Mine were brittle, too. My wife used a steamer to soften the paper and carefully un-balled them. One of 3 ended up in good enough shape to photo copy.

Thanks for the input blkz. It's time for me to rip the interior apart this weekend anyways so I'll be sure to keep my eyes open.
