What is the best way to get to the last bolt on the right side after installing edelbrock shorties on an '88 iroc-z (305 tpi) w/A.I.R. tubes & emissions "CRAP"? The bolt is 11mm. I can get a boxed-end wrench on it, but can't get leverage to tighten. Any suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, I'm doing all kinds of minor mods to this car. I will probably be asking alot of questions if I can't find messages to cover them first. Thanks, Joe

Try getting at the bolt from under the car. That is what i did. You can try a shorter wrench. Also consider getting hex hedder bolts. This makes tightening easier.

Thanks karlseus, but I was already under the car trying to tighten the bolt. The problem was the threads were tighter in this hole than the others. I finally had to take the header back off (this was fun) and re-tap the hole so the bolt would go in easier. After this, the bolt went right in and I used a small boxed-end wrench with a jack handle on the end to push it tight (after I knocked all the bark off my knuckles). Anyway, I've got everything on now. A WORD OF ADVICE TO ANYONE READING THIS: ALOT OF PATIENTS, TIME, AND THE RIGHT TOOLS ARE REQUIRED FOR PUTTING HEADERS ON A THIRD GEN. CAMARO IF YOU'VE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE AS DUMB AS I AM.

Dumb is makeing the same mistakes over and over again. Inexperience is what you meant.
