mass air code

hey peoples, wondering if i can get a little help?

working on a 1985 z28 w/tpi eng.f. car has int. problem, runs great then out of the blue it runs horrible like its dying. the more you give it thottle the more it bogs. only seems to do this upon acceleration from a stop. rpm's get to about 2300 and this prob kicks in untill you shut car off and restart it. then everything is great untill it does it again ( may be 10 min. or 1 hr.)

my question is concerning the mass air sensor. the book says that it should not read below 15 g/s . but they dont specify at what rpm or at idle. this one is reading 7.2 g/s @ idle.

any ideas would be great . car also giving a code 21 ,tps. swapped it w/another tps i had laying around no help. :cry:

ok, how about--------does anybody know how to test a mass air flow sensor?

I believe that's a code 32. It sounds like you have tested it. How did you arrive @ 7.2 g/s? You must have a scanner or know someone who does. Thoroughly, clean the sensor and retest. If same replace it.
