a few cars in '85 had TPI, but it didn't officially appear until the 86 model year. 87 was the last year of the carberetuer. In 87-92 all were TPI or TBI. Then there was the CFI (crossfire) that was around in 82-84 and also on the vettes in '81-84. That was just as bad as a carb though :roll:
