That's right gentlemen. It's finally gone. I sold it to a guy out in poland ohio for a mere 500 bucks. Ah, that v6 and i had some good times....oh well haha.
We picked up a 350 and tranny out in Chicago. So I'm trying to clean that bad boy up. Matt and I are going to regasket it tomorrow and maybe i'll paint it.
My grandparents garage is TRASHED lol. So i gotta clean that up. There are car parts everywhere.
I'll try to post some pictures this weekend.
i can't wait until it is all in and we get it running. :D

lolol. We need to pick up an oil pump, oil pan gasket and a few new things for the motor. I'm going to attemp lol to do her motor mounts tomororw. WITH THE SPRINGS INSTALLED I've done it on my car once and I'm sure I can do it on hers too.
As for me the block is in the shop and all my parts are in except the I beam rods were all out of round so I ordered a new set and they were still out of round, so I ended up upgrading to the H beams lol Like I'll ever see 700 HP which they are rated at lol Other then that its draining my wallet :)

Looks like it's coming along for both of you. Out of curiosity Erin, why didn't save the bucks and just swap in Matt's engine or was your swap an afterthought after he sold his engine?

Cool pics! For a second I thought the motor was converted to run off propane. Ed was saying last night was the biggest 3GO meet he had been to since the Crckr Barrel thing in the spring. Nice seeing you all...

the best part was after we "purged" the system..... you were in the house ordering the pizza for us. thank you very much, btw:)
matt undoes the line going to the accumulator (the a/c tank thing) and steps away to grab another wrench.
andy asked him if the pressure was completely empty, matt said yes. right as i walked by the right front corner of the car, the line blew off of the tank.
i was the one who yelled "SHIT!" and i promptly jumped from the corner of the car to the very back corner of the garage.

i think andy saw the leaves first, because he pulled the radiator from the car. "hey matt, check this out."
he showed it to matt, who then said, "hey erin, i think we found your cooling problems."
yeah, i had a lot of fun with the whole saw claus bit:thumbup:
i don't see a saw bunny though. dont see myself prancing around in a bunny suit holding a chainsaw.

The sad thing is that I was told by 2 different people that they cleaned all that crap outta there. grr... Yeah that so that definately solves all the heating problems i had.

http://pic1.picturetrail.com/VOL104/831195/1593239/38995605.jpg for sure. i can't wait to start tearing into my car, waiting on a carb rebuild kit.
i want to start working on the suspension as well. i've got a complete front cross member that i need to strip, clean the a-arms, and have new bushings pressed in, as well as new balljoints. should go with new springs as well.
matt, the more i think about it, the more i shoulda bought that 9 bolt. i want 4 wheel discs...
