Motor is bare

Pulled the entire intake, heads, block brackets, fans, radiator, coolent take, air cleaner and whole assembly, strut tower brackets non AC box headers and wiering and all. Just need to pull block now and paint engine bay and put back together. I took that stuff all off today. I'm buying engine stand on thursday from harbor freight. they seem cheap. Gotta take my heads to get fixed and also need to do some porting to the superram and lower base. Theres alot of dirt. I also need to get the converter/ After that put it all back together nice and clean with all new bolts, get it running then woprry about the little shit i need to get done.
-Relocate amp and hide it somewhere
-Recover sub box
-Fix driver side door lock
-Replace driver side mirror (Cracked ever since I bought the car.. I may just leave it since it gives me good luck maybe.)
-Wash interior mats
-Weld subframes in
-Replace exhaust pipes (Yes I'm keeping the Edelbrock catback. GMMG I cant afford right now)
-Hope to be done with car by January.

the madness starts on sunday. i'm bringing my hoist up, and we're going to pull the engine and get it set on the stand.

then when the engine is ready to drop back in, i'll bring the hoist back up and we'll set er in. :thumbup:

I inspected the pistons tongiht and they look like dog crap. It s bunch of white crusty stuff on them and when i rub my finger over the top it turns to like sand. but the pisont is nice and smooth underneigth. :conf:

How do the plugs look?

PLugs are all nice and light tan. Only number 7 is more whitish but number 7 pison looks the best lol. There isnt shit on it. Looks new.
