I want to beat a summnons need advice

Its now 4am and just got a ticket for disobeying a red light in Bronx, NY.

I know I didnt run any light but I received the ticket any way.

I'm going to plead not guilty and mail it in.

Now when i have to go to court should I hope its on a friday cause I've gotten other tickets on a friday and they've been dismissed cause the judge wants to go home early.

Or what should I say besides telling the truth that I didnt run the light and I received a ticket ?

Please tell me how I can get out of this ?

I figure I have to goto my cousand who has cop friends and have the brotherhood of cops talk to each other to get me out of this.

any advice ?

So the cop gave you a ticket for the hell of it? Sounds unlikely....
