If the weather holds Ed and I are gonna make some runs tonight. We started on his front brakes Sunday and finished up last night. Ed did his end links (which we've had since June), we split the bearing repacking and I remounted the calipers with new pads. Test drive was good, a clunk he always got on 237 was gone with the fixed link. :D

We had a pretty good time and times for both cars improved. My best time was 15.5 @ 88 MPH with a 2.222 60' - My other two runs were slower but both trapped over 90 MPH so I can probably come down .2-.4 if I can get it all together. I ran a 16.16 on Eds car and his best run was about the same. He ran my car a couple of times and did pretty well for his first manual launches. His best, a 16.000, was better than my previous best. This Saturday I'll be running the Grandy down Cincinnatti way (Tri-State dragway) and then will follow the Bungles team bus back so I can watch my 9er beating Brownies spank them at home.

very cool. took me awhile to figure out why the z28 had a sound like loose change clinking together when i'd hit a bump. i was chagining the oil one day only to look at the endlinks. they were shot. one of the bushings is ocmpletely gone

Pulled a 42 from the Z28 today. Wonder if the HEI module is going?
