I'm going just to get my scoring sheets, hopefully :crossed: and renew my membership. For ten bucks you can't beat it. Sometimes I'd like too though...........

i read through the newsletter, congrats rob and greg.

local guy with the 84 z28, tim breegle, won the 82-84 stock class. he lives around the corner from where i work.

i'm going to catch the meeting at mike's, then i'm going to go to a party afterwards.... anyone know where i can pick up some mardi-gras beads?

I rarely hang around long afterwards cause of the long ride home and the lateness of the hour. I won't even ask why the mardi gras beads :conf:

i'm only staying for an hour or so, as the party starts at 9.

the beads are for the party, it's a variation of mardi gras. i'll do the best i can to get photos, but i don't think anyone will want to see them.

let's just say that i've discovered the night life of going out to some local bars and clubs, and watching bands, and so on. i usually reserve it for saturday nights, but i'm off wednesday. so i think i'll go out and have some fun and meet some new people.

beer is expensive as hell at the bars... i can remember the one place i went to back in college serving all domestic stuff for $1.00 the place i was at last night, a budweiser bottle was $2.25  oh well, the object of going out is not to see how much one can drink.... i'm just out to meet some new people.

for sure.... i first met tim in may out at kent state trumbull campus at their car show. he's a really friendly guy, and really keeps his car in pristine condition.

i spent the better part of 45 minutes eyeballing the car back in may. it looks like something i probably would have ordered back in 1984 if i were new car shopping back then.

It took me almost two hours to get home Robert. They had 90 shut down to a single lane for ten miles and for what...to resurface the rest stop area, one mile from the end. What were the other 9 miles intended for? Practice?

Hope your mardi gras party was fun.

that had to suck. :jerkit:

i had a blast. got to meet a lot of people, and i took about 35 photos for the radio station with my camera as well. gave away all of my beads, too. i saw a lot of cute women, as well as other things. got home around 3 am, did the photos, got to bed around 4. beer was only $2. think i found my new hideout.

i'm not sure if they're going to post photos from me or not, but go to www.realrock104.com in a couple days. might have to click on "archives" to see the photos. dial up guys, the site is slow. go grab a drink form the fridge while it loads. the radio station is worth it though
