guys:

a friend of mine came out of work on sunday night only to discover his car was already on its way out of the parking lot, due to thieves.

chris, this is dave's iroc. dave from austintown, you've got one of his vortec heads to match up the tpi intake.

anyway..

here's some visual clues for everyone until i can get a pic hosted. it's an 89 iroc-z, black in color with gray interior. it has a vinyl bra on the front to hide some chipped paint. it has t-tops.
also has a grant challenger steering wheel. on the hatch glass there are a couple stickers on each side, one supertrapp, and one k&n. there are k&n stickers on each side gfx skirt near the rear tires. there will also be a bowtie sticker on the rear hatch glass. also look for blackouts on the taillights only.

you'll also see what look like centerline auto-drag wheels on futura super sport gls tires.

the car has ohio license plates CK46VX.

if you see the car, or have seen it, give me a call. 330-647-1622. if you get my voicemail, please leave a message.

thanks everyone.

Ya I talked to him the same nite it happened.

The really shitty thing is He had his vatts bypassed thats what made it so easy for someone to steal.

The sad thing is Its prob gona be found but who knows what kinda condition :( Hopefully just some punks joyriding and the onlt thing bad is a broke stearing colum.

With those wheels, that car should stand out easily. Hope it's found soon. Gawd, I'd die if someone rode away in mine.

i think we'd all die, rob, if that were to happen to any one of us.

hoping we find something at the swap meet tomorrow.

if we find parts, we're cracking skulls. :powpow:

insurance company is giving dave another week, then they'll cut a check for the value of the car. dave's figuring about $4500 hopefully.

I'm from the Boardman area. I'll keep a look out for it. Truthfully, I've never seen that car in Boardman before. I've seen a black IROC though.

Hope he gets it back in one peice.
