the alternator went out on my truck yesterday... no biggie.

i got it changed this morning, took me about 45 minutes. no big deal.

i go in to get ready for work, and check the boards real quick. i go to put the laptop away, and accidentally drop it on the floor.

the display is fucked. to get me by for now, i have it hooked up to a spare monitor i took from when i worked at onecom 2 years ago.

that sucks. But you might have some luck hitting up ebay. I usually see a lot of laptop dislplays on there.

Im not sure how hard it actually is, but i think its pretty straight forward. As far as i know all you need to do is just pop out the old one and unplug it from the board, then the replacement just plugs right back in its place. I dont know how easy it is to get the screen out though.

i got to looking at it last night, looks like the top part where the display snaps apart.

oh well, i have a monitor hooked up to it for now, it'll have to wait until i get tires on my truck, and my credit card paid down.
