Nice cars every one but here's the winner...Jason Weinell. I never saw a guy get into chroming parts as he does.

I'll be there tomorrow, bright and early. I heard there was an overwhelming turnout as compared to previous years.

Wish i could have been there this weekend. But joelle and i were out apartment shopping all day, our rent is going up so were looking to get out of here and into someplace cheaper. Id head down tomorrow but unfortunately we have to do more looking since we only have another week to find a place. :(

Hey guys (and gals),

I'm bummed I couldn't make it out... had to work most of the day. :( Unfortunately tomorrow I have another full schedule, so I won't be there then, either.

I wonder if the guys will let me cash my prepaid entry fee in for T-shirts or something??? :conf:

Have a great time!!!

Respectively in our classes, I took third, Greg took first but also received a separate award from the Ontario Camaro Club for their best of show,3rdgen, Todd took first with his 69, and Jason took first. Congrats to all as it was a very tough field this year. Total cars there was 175, the SSR sucks IMO, sits too high and will be overpriced by GM.

Mark you should've been in chat last night is all I can say...

Rob, sorry I missed you Sunday, I was irked about the start problem I had with the GA Saturday night and had to drive the '01 to Huntingon where I picked up some fresh dirt. So Sunday I made myself more miserable by watching the Clowns, I really expected a better outcome. I'll have some albums up eventually... Did Erin get some sort of award? Her car looked very clean...

Nice shots John. This guy works for MBNA. His car grabs my attention when he pulls away and I'm outside.

I don't think so John as she said the judges were 'amused' or even laughing at her car. If so, then they should be ashamed for not giving a person credit for trying. Regardless of condition, a person who has enough pride in their car to show it and their efforts to make it better outways what it 'looks' like. Erin has alway shown she's a winner in our books. Sounds hammy but its the truth young lady ;)

Thanks Rob :)

this was my 1st major show. I didnt come there to win, I just wanted to see what the judging is all about and have my car critiqued. I know it's not pefect but i'm proud of it and i had a lot of fun. It ws a great experience. Hopefully I'll come back next year maybe with v8 and show those judges who's boss. ;)

YOU GO GIRL!

Now for something entertaining from the show that I missed so I have got to pass this on. In one of the albums are shots of the SSR. Scott Settlemire was explaining the vehicle with the usual schmooze when he pops the tonneau cover on the bed. In his own words,

SO...I'm at the NEOCC Show this weekend...took an SSR for display........

Gino...in cohoots with "The little weasel from Ionia, MI" and "the lil' weasel from Stoystown PA" arranged (unbeknownst to me) to have a "product walk-around" done on the SSr.....you know....show how the top goes up and down...engine specs, frame specs, etc.....

SO.....I get to the back of the SSR....and hit the automatic tonneau cover...it pops up.......

and...the "little weasels from New York, Ionia, and Stoystown" had put a BLOW-UP DOLL IN FISH NET STOCKINGS in the back of the SSR..........so that several hundred people got to see me die of embarrassment.

(everyone KNOWS how much I hate fishnet stockings, no????)

Tell me that wouldn't have been great to see.

you know what the reminds me of..... the commercial where they skimp on the airbags. fast forward to a parade, and this military general bumps into the car ahead of him. this blow up doll pops out of the steering wheel, and its arms wrap around the general.
