just making a monthly post here so it doesnt die. what is new in your life, how is your car, anything major happening in your life that you need to talk about?

Hey, I haven't posted much of anything, since I tried to sell my 84' Firebird on here some months ago....

I still have it and noone seems to want to buy it, not enough project wanters here in Tucson I guess...well, I still have it and may try to fix it up, but right now it has a crankshaft knock, most likely main bearing #1 seeing as how that is where the noise seems to originate, and I can't take off the crank without removing the engine, and I do not have the tools or the money to do so. I have replaced the rod bearings prior to this, due to two of them side by side slipping around and overall f''ked....I ran it a bit too hard. So I guess I am gonna start trying to fix it, but at a mechanic it will cost about 1700 :eek: to do, and it will cost me about 600-700 and about a week and a half to do. but, I guess it is still for sale just in case someone want it before I attempt anything and actually get enough to try.....sellin' for 600, if anyone knows how to remove the crank or replace the main's without taking the engine out, please shar....it's the 84 305 v8 4bbl.....have fun all...

Well, I hope so too....:D How many people in these forums are in Tucson? Or frequent Tucson? I'm part of a Probe/MX6 club right now, but I would like to meet up with some third gen guys if possible....you all have fun..
