Well i think after tonights game its pretty obvious that Holcomb should be the starter. The team looked so much better with him in. They seemed more in tune. Hopefully butch davis makes the right pick and holcomb will be starting.

Getting pretty sick of hearing about it myself. Thats all the announcers talk about, but I must agree, Couch isn't up to par.

Well its official. Holcomb is the starting qb. Im glad he made the right choice. Now its time to get that pathetic defense going.

Well Kelly's debut turned into a yawner, but I don't put it so much on him. They called some terrible plays in the red zone. The Navy Seals landing on the field for pregame were cool.

I blame that loss on the offensive line and the play calling.

Well, I guess we will see. I didn't see much happening, I hope we have a good season. I hope we beat the Ravens, or it wont be looking too good for us. I dont think Holcomb is really much better than Couch, a improvement perhaps, but not by much.

I'm about where you are, Brian. I think they're both able starters and matched pretty well overall physically. I have the impression that Holcomb is more regularly successful at generating a chemistry with the rest of the offense, but I'm not sure I've seen enough of him to be sure. The offensive line is a little scary right now, so it's good we got two good guys. Be interesting to see how the season goes...

But GODDAMNIT, when are we gonna win a Freakin' opener?

We also need a good fullback for red zone situations. We could have used one sunday.

I wonder if one of the big defensive gorillas could work into that role, it was cool on the old Browns roster when they went to the slam-bam.

Meh, we got cheated out of last season's opener by 3 points...and we went 9-7. Like I said, I'll be worried if we dont beat the Ravens. (Unless, like usual, we get cheated by 3 points at the end)

Yup, i agree. We have to beat the ravens this weekend. Especially since they lost too. That would be great to put them to 0-2.

Not to be this year... Well at least I won't be tormented with another home game. I've put the final updates into my imagestation album. The shots from the MNF game were taken by Ed with his new Sony digicam...
