Hey, I tore my headliner down to replace the bad cloth, and one corner of the cardboard crap was broke and got acccedently thrown away, I am screwed unless I get a new Cardboard Headliner, and my friend suggested a Fiberglass one he heard of being offered? Does anyone know if these exist? and where and how much I can find them for and if they're worth it and will last, THANKS A BUNCH!!! -Jowee

I bought a fiberglass one off of eBay a couple months ago. It's great- there's no seam in the middle. I know some of the ABS headliners come in 2 pieces for easier shipping.

I couldn't find a new one either. I remember seeing them for sale a couple years ago and when I went looking for one, all anybody had was ABS plastic. I ended up paying more for my fiberglass one on eBay than an ABS one, but it was worth it IMO.

i have mine installed perfectly now, it came rolled up and i had to leave it in the sun to regain it's form but it was fine. I used bumper repair glue/plastic to fill in the hole for the dome light as well as the holes for the visors, i used fiberglass cloth to patch the holes w/ the glue. Then i glued the ela***r to it, the curves were kind of tough but when i was done i bought a roll of the door protection rubber and put it around the top edges. all in all it looks REALLY good and the wind doesn't effect it. the headboard was probably $130-150 counting shipping, then the cost of the leather about $15 for the 3m spray (highest grade) and the plastic abd bumper repair stuff, then the roll of the door edge stuff.

Did you end up getting an ABS one or a fiberglass one? My fiberglass headliner was already pre-covered in black cloth with padding underneath.

My headliner actually came folded in 1/2. When I saw the size of the box the UPS driver left, I freaked. I just knew it was broken in half. I opened the box, slid it out, and it popped right into shape. I would've thought the fiberglass would break, but I guess you can bend it to a point.

Was it just off a private seller you got the fiberglass headliner or from a business? Remember what company you got it from or anything?
