Hey me again, New here, I have my car and 2 friends with similar year Firebirds, we all have the same problem to different degrees:
the eyelid motors, 1 friend his is the worst the motors spin but the eyelids won't go up at all, the other friend his are irratic, and mine, just the drivers side flickers and winks at times.
We think it's all the same problem, we took apart one motor and it's plastic gears with mass chewed up plastic dust, like does anyone knopw why the motors spin forever after the headlights are up or down? cause we think thats why they are chewing up the gears, and, we found this, brass gears:

It looks like the answer BUt those are for 93+ and we are all before 92.....
And this, i haven't seen anything like this in the motor can anyone fill me in?:
