How to Give the V6 a little more kick!!

Here is a way to give you V6 a little more power. Right behide the distibuter cap there is a 9/16 bolt. Turn this until its a little loose this will increase your timeing to match you front timeing chain that has been wore down after so many years. This trick also works on V8's. Well there it is Enjoy!!

Loosening the distributor hold down bolt will only cause problems, mainly your timing to walk all over the place if it's loose enough. You can ADVANCE the timing a few degrees, giving it a little more "kick", but don't leave that bolt loose. As for the timing chain and gears, they can be replaced fairly inexpensively and easily.
