how much of a pain would it be to swap a ls1 into a '92 Z28? I have an ls1 available from a wrecked T/A (rear end collision) and want to drop it in my Z. Would I be beter off putting an L98 and working that over? Any help would be appreciated.

It'd be a little more difficult than an L98 swap. If you can get the engine complete w/ harness and pcm i'd say go for it. That is, if you're up to a project...

My friend had to make his own wireing harness to swap an LS1 into a 1995 Firebird..... He said it was a pita, took almost a year...

I think the biggest pain in the ass would be the fact that you are going to have to fab up your own/new motor mounts!
