First of all, I did a search and could not find the info I was looking for here, corvetteforum or camaroz28. Someone shot me an email saying you guys were pretty knowlegable about these things since several had tried these in every configuration possible. My car is a 90 corvette L98 w. stock 113 d-ports. I need to stay N/A and with stock heads and cam. I have an accell base intake that has been ported and matched to the heads. I recently picked up a set of slp runners. Thing is, one half of each side is siamesed all the way down but the other half isnt. Its like the front 4 cylinders would get more air than the back four. I'd heard that SLP made them this way early on but then changed the design to having both sides partially siamesed. What I'm worried about is making sure that I dont run lean on half, and rich on the others. I plan to max port and match these as well as cut my plenum and match it to the runners.
Can anyone verify if there was a design change on these runners and for what reason.
Are there any ill effects from using these?
And does anyone have a prediction for hp and trq gains?
I plan on going back to the dyno after I get these on. Last time there with the stock runners/plenum I made 250rwhp and 359rwtrq.
