Where would you find the Serial Numbers on the Engine to make sure that they match the Car ???
Pls Help, any thoughts would be great ! :conf:

front, passenger side of engine block. Right below where the head meets the block. (on a V8 at least)

ok, But Which numbers match the Vin # of the car ??

you need to run the numbers on the engine to figure out what engine it is. Then make sure it matches the letter in the VIN for that engine...

yeah, i know this the 8 digit is an 8 for 350 and F for 305
But thats not what i meant.
i know on the older cars 64-70 is something like the last 8 digits of the vin should be on the block above the head on the pass. side
Is this the same for the 87-90 Iroc z28 ???
