motor rebuild question

im fixin to rebuild my motor and i plan on putting flat top pistons in it. ive heard that it raises the compression rate. Will my mass air flow sensor compinsate for this?

Does your car currently not have flat top pistons? If they are dished, then yes, flat tops will raise your compression. Your MAF won't be affected by higher compression. Just run gas witha higher octane rating. Keep the compression 9.5:1 or under with iron heads.
