Not my best night at the track, but I got a couple cool videos. If you download them and can't see them, download the codec provided and install it, it only takes a minute or so. If my car looks like it stops accelerating after 1st gear vs. the TTA, that is what happens when you shift your auto tranny into 3rd gear from 1st  I ended up running a 12.64 vs. the TTA's 13.5. I ran a 12.43 (with my best 60' of 1.710) to the Stang's 13.38 in the other video.

Dang man, your car is really nice. And you RIP out of that hole! Good job. How do you like your headers? I am fixing to get those installed, and wanted some opinions. How much was it to get your Y-pipe made? Nice run(s). ;)

Thanks. These headers are "ok". I got them as one of my first mods and bought them b/c of the price and they come with a y-pipe, so you don't have to get one made. You might want to look on this board and thirdgen.org, people swear that these headers suck. But I have no experience with any others to compare them to. I am thinking about Hooker Super Comps, but those are pretty expensive, especially b/c I would need a custom or Mufflex y-pipe and probably a new cat-back.

If you want something good on a relatively stock daily driver, check out the Hooker shorties w/ y-pipe and SLP's.

Hmmm, I dont know why they would suck, mine do have those A.I.R tubes on them, but I plan on taking those off. Seem Ok to me.

I hate my edelbrock headers.

The y-pipe sits like 2 inches lower than stock... the damn thing is so low I can't lower the car at all or it will scrape on everything.

i have edelbrock headers with a.i.r. tubes (i live in cali so its a must if ur gonna smog) and i have been very happy with the sound and power improvement i didnt notice any ground clearance issues at the header or the cat and actually i think it helped my ground clearance. although i do think that anyone who installs these on their 3rd gen should definetely get them temp coated bc i burned up 3 starters with heat shields on them b4 i got a mini starter w/ a heat shield plus keeps down underhood engine temps
