as a few people know I've set up the early show and the last show. Well I remember last year I had my little thing and it was a big turnout. Something like 8 thirdgens that night. So does everybody want to come on out on *** 26th?

Works for me as well. Fewer cars than last year but maybe Dave and Robert can make it.

Looks open right now. Was planning on suspending my insurance on the 24th, but maybe I can ride shotgun if Ed can go thus not murking the waters with my 4th gen.

Damn!!!

I've been holding off on a reply for this because my brother's roof is in need of replacement, and the date had not yet been finalized. But, as it turns out, I'll be on the roof this Saturday. I'm bummed, once again the scheduling does not work out in my favor.

I did take out the car all day Sunday, though. Man, it was nice to drive it again!!!

Have a great time everyone... I'm looking forward to next year for the cruising scene. Hopefully we'll all have a little more time for local stuff!

Actually, I like going into Classic every couple of months, pulling up to the showroom window, get out and walk the used car lot. The vultures of salemen seeing an old guy with an older camaro sets them to foaming at the mouth. Thinking they have an easy sale, they drop on me like....like vultures. I brush off their talk about the LS1's, the power and speed...too much money.

Once when I first had the camaro, I came out from the parts dept to find a saleman waiting by my car. He wondered if I had considered trading the car in...I replied no. "Too bad, I've got a buyer on the lot chomping on a bit, who'd take your car now." He pointed to a young man in his 20's. Sorry to disappoint...

Used car lots can be fun

Well the weather could've been a lot nicer but the mood was good for all those that showed up. We all seem to have some nice plans over the winter for projects. And Jay, those wheels and tires do stand out on the car. Looking good Jay:thumbup:

Yeah, I left a couple of spaces in case any other 3rd Gens showed up too. Thanks for the retouch. I borrowed your link for a post on GMPowertalk.

How embarrassing. So what do you do? Redline it in 1st and bang it into 3rd? :D

Sorry to have missed you too Josh...hope everything is OK :)

No problem John, I had some time to kill this morning so fussed with it. With the time change, I set the alarm earlier than usual just in case the body didn't want to get out of bed... Switching time in the spring gives me problems but for some reason, the fall time change doesn't :conf:
