Well I have a story to tell. My dad was at a funeral and met up with one of his cousins and they began to talk about cars. Well it turns out that he owns a 81 Z8 and races it at norwalk. So this past saturday we went over his house and checked it out. Dude this thing is a beast! It's a 350 engine and only has 6000 miles on it. It has t-tops, all orignal interior and B&M megashifter. I don't remember all the technical stuff about the car but I know it finishes in the low 12s at norwalk. And guess what? This friday i get to ride in it! I'm so excited. I have a link to somepictures (http://hometown.aol.com/mystify49/z28.html) In the background of th 1st picture you can see his son's mustang cobra. i've never seen so much engine! those valve covers mus of been like 2 1/2 feet long hehe. I asked him about putting a bigger engine in my car and he said he wont because its too hard to swap a v6 for a v8 and he said i should just leave it the way it is since it's in such good shape. he's basically saying he doesn't wanna risk screwing up my car. But he said if I find a z28 he'll help me turn it into a street rod and race it. how cool is that? Next week I think i'm going out to summit to pick up the automatic B&M megashifter. i've been eyeing that shifter for months and now that i got some $$ i might go out and buy it. woohoo! lol. well i'm gonna go, just wanted to share
