open element air cleaner vs. snorkel

i was just wondering how much better open element is than the stock snorkel air cleaner, i was also told that the dual snorkel cleaner from the l69 is much better than open air, just wondering, i also have the power buldge hood so does the stock one work better with that. just wondering. thanks

most open air elements are taller, so they can allow the engine to breath in air easier, however, the air underhood is hot, and that costs power...

the snorkel air cleaners let cooler outside air into the engine, athough they tend to be a tad more restrictive.

im more into camaros, so i donno anything about the power buldge hood other then how it looks.. :shrug:

The Dual snorkel air cleaner is better i think cause it allows cold air in opposed to warm air, the open element air cleaners allow mostly hot air in
